Valentine Rey, Associate Professor at GeM, took part, together with 5 other women researchers and PhD students from Nantes Université and the Scientific and Technical Culture Mission (CST), in a meeting with 150 Year 8 pupils at the Marcelle Baron secondary school in Héric.
Organised for International Women’s Day by Emmanuelle Gautier, a physics and chemistry teacher, this meeting aims to introduce pupils to women scientists, who are often under-represented in the popular image of science and research.
