This axis is dedicated to problems for which the difficulty reliaes at the interface between subsystems. It is the case of fluid-structure interaction, vibro-acoustic, contact and friction, thin layers and structure with complex surface geometry.
In this axis, both modelization (contact formulation, multiphysic couplings, …) and simulation (connection between computer aided design softwares and simulations tools) are investigates. Possible applications are acoustic wave propagation in submarine environement, balloon design …
