The “Yvette Cauchois (1908–1999)” Poster Prize was awarded to the winners of the three best posters on January 20, 2026, during the annual Mécamat Aussois 2026 conference, whose theme this year was “Images, Mechanics, Materials.”
Lilou Gautier, a Ph.D. student at GeM, received a joint second prize for her poster titled “Comportement à la limite d’élasticité de structures minces avec des cavités – applications à des composants LPBF” which presented the work of her ongoing thesis, supervised at GeM by Julien Réthoré (thesis advisor), Mathilde Chevreuil and Xiaodong Liu at GeM, and by Didier Bardel at Framatome.
