Organised by GeM and the Franco-Cameroonian team of the CNRS AI4EB project
Artificial intelligence (AI) now plays a central role in the development of analysis and optimisation techniques in many fields, particularly in the study of materials in civil engineering. AI tools make it possible to process and analyse large volumes of data, opening up new perspectives for the study of construction materials.
This conference will look at the various AI methods used to improve the understanding and modelling of materials properties. Using techniques such as machine learning and neural networks, it is now possible to anticipate the behaviour of materials in the event of environmental constraints, optimise their use and predict their long-term performance.
Concrete case studies will be presented and the main applications of these technologies in the field of infrastructure and materials will be explored.
It will take place in two parts:
- 9 October 2024: presentations
- 10 October 2024: workshops (priority for PhD and Masters 2 students)
The conference is aimed at a wide audience from the field of civil engineering, and in particular at researchers and doctoral students wishing to apply these methods to the analysis of their research data.
These days are free of charge but registration is compulsory !
