[HDR defense] Fateh Bendahmane ‘Durabilité des ouvrages hydrauliques en terre, et valorisation des matériaux naturels : étude expérimentale et modélisation’

Fateh Bendahmane, Assistant professor at the GeM Saint-Nazaire campus, will present his work in view of obtaining the ‘Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches’ on Friday 11 October 2024 at 9.30 am (Campus Gavy-Oceanis – Room 315) on the following subject :

Trained as an engineer, Fateh Bendahmane developed a taste for research during his master’s degree in research at Centrale Nantes and his internship at the LGCNSN Saint-Nazaire laboratory in 2001.
He then assisted in the creation of GeM and helped to develop and set up the laboratory on the subject of internal erosion.
He is currently working on several related topics:
- Durability of earthen hydraulic structures
- Valorisation of natural materials: earth construction and sediment recovery
- Works to protect the land and coastline
- Circular economy
