Thesis defense- Ziad Maksassi ‘Effect of bio-colonization on the thermal behavior of dynamic electrical cables of floating wind turbines’

Ziad Maksassi, will defend his thesis on Friday 3 February 2023 at 10am at Polytech Nantes (Theater 1 – Bât. Isitem) on the subject ‘Effect of bio-colonization on the thermal behavior of dynamic electrical cables of floating wind turbines’.
This work was carried out as part of the BIODYTHERM project funded by the West Atlantic Marine Energy Community (WEAMEC), with funding from the Région Pays de la Loire. It is also part of the Dynamic Umbilicals for Floating Marine Renewable Energy (OMDYN-2) project funded by France Energies Marines (FEM) and the French National Research Agency (ANR)
This thesis was supervised by Ahmed GUELED (LTeN), Franck SCHOEFS (GeM) and Bertrand GARNIER (LTeN).
