The 21st edition of the ECCM conference opened on July 2 at the Cité Internationale des Congrès in Nantes and will run until July 5, 2024. Over 1,300 participants are expected to attend this major event bringing together scientists from all over the world, from both industry and academia, to discuss composite materials.
The organization of this edition is coordinated by two GeM members, Christophe Binetruy, Professor at Centrale Nantes and Vice President Entrepreneurship Nantes Université, and Frédéric Jacquemin, Professor and Vice President, Innovation and Partnerships, I-Site, Nantes Université.

The symposium began with a doctoral training day (short courses) at Centrale Nantes on July 1, 2024, attended by some 200 international doctoral students.
