NoMaD 2025 Conference – Nouveaux Matériaux et Durabilité (New Materials and Sustainability), Nantes, 13-14 November 2025

After Toulouse (2012), Douai (2015) Liège (2018) Montpellier (2022) the NoMaD conference is being held this year in Nantes in the Halle 6 Ouest by the GeM from 13 to 14 November 2025.

This conference will be focusing on experimental, theoretical and numerical research into new civil engineering materials in the context of sustainable development. It is a privileged moment for exchanges between the various actors of the field of construction.

The conference will cover the following topics

Processes and behaviour of eco-materials for construction: low-carbon concretes and binders, earth materials, construction stone, bio-sourced materials, 3D printing, etc.

Ageing and durability of materials and structures: durability indicators, performance-based approach, fire resistance, freeze-thaw, self-cicarisation, biodegradation/biocolonisation, etc.

Envelope behaviour: thermal and hydric comfort, indoor air quality, reaction to fire, etc.
