CHAIRS AND JOINT LABORATORIES

The SEALENCE Chair aims to develop predictive tools for the design of elastomer parts subjected to extreme conditions, particularly in the naval sector. This structuring partnership project combines experimentation, modeling and simulation to overcome a major scientific obstacle: understanding polymer compressibility.

Created in 2016, the JLMT “Joint Laboratory of Marine Technology”, is a joint industry/research laboratory. Its overall objective is to jointly mobilize the academic and industrial skills of Centrale Nantes and Naval Group to produce innovations qualified for Naval Group’s industrial applications in military shipbuilding.
